Owner and management of the WULIN Academy
Sandy has been a full time teacher for Asian life and kinetic arts since 1995. The Zen Dharma name “Taikyu” means “everlasting peace”.
“Shimu” means “motherly teacher”. Shimu is an essential part in the martial art and in Chan (Japanese Zen).
Her lessons are characterized by a holistic perspective, mindfulness, compassion and everyday life. In her lessons, she integrates psychological and philosophical aspects of Buddhism, Taosimus and Ayurveda with much ease and humor. Sandy attaches great importance to a balanced practice of traditional techniques. It is important to her that her students develop with serene serenity, devotion, and joy according to their individual and personal capacities and opportunities, and find their way back to themselves, to their inner strength, and to their true original nature.
